What is it about? This Minor in Social Data Science provides a foundation for students who are interested in exploring new ways of thinking when analysing and applying data in the context of the social sciences.

Pre-requisite requirements and/or other conditions for declaring the major/minor It is not offered to BASc(SDS) students. For details, please check with Faculty.
Students are required to take 36 credits comprising 24 credits of introductory courses and 12 credits of advanced courses.
Career opportunities Industries with high demand for knowledge and skills of social data science include: Innovative and Information Technologies, marketing, consulting, health care, financial services, government, NGOs, public services, academia and education.
