What is it about? Materials Engineering is an emerging discipline focusing on the innovation and application of new materials in the high technology sector, like nanotechnology, in the medical, optical or aeronautical field, for the betterment of mankind. This major is jointly offered by the Departments of Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Students will get the chance to acquire top-notch knowledge in mechanics, nanotechnology, biomaterials, optical network technology, aeronautical engineering and medical devices.
