What is it about? The Global Health Minor takes a multidisciplinary approach in the study of the environmental, economic, social and political change on the health of human populations and the environment. The key concepts, debates, challenges, and opportunities in the field of global health will be explored through a broad-based and intellectually engaging curriculum. Students will apply their acquired knowledge and skills in these core areas to efforts to mitigate these transnational problems and improve health as global citizens.

Pre-requisite requirements and/or other conditions for declaring the major/minor Minor:
Students are required to complete 36 credits of the following courses subject to the University's regulations on credit double-counting:
GEOG2124, URBS1003, SOWK3099, GHAD3003; GHAD1003/GHAD3002 or LLAW3027;
GHAD4003 or GHAD4004

Remarks:
Courses may be offered in an alternate semesters/academic years.
