What is it about? It is about learning key skills in bioinformatics and their applications in modern digital health technology, with the aim to equip students with up-to-date knowledge and tools to develop new computational methods and software for real world medically-relevant data and solving specific biomedical problems.

Students are required to complete 36 credits of the following courses subject to the University's regulations on credit double-counting:

BMED2500, BMED3501, COMP3314, COMP3317, COMP3340, STAT3612, BMED4500, BMED4504
Career opportunities The Minor programme explores the application of bioinformatics to digital health, and is highly relevant to students who aspires a scientific or academic career in the field.
