What is it about? Computational Social Science is an interdisciplinary programme designed to nurture social innovators equipped with computational skills. It combines advanced training in cutting-edge computational methods with in-depth knowledge of social issues. Students enrol in Faculty-level introductory courses to learn foundational computational methods for social scientific inquiries, as well as specialized computation-focused courses offered by various departments to explore the application of these methods within their chosen social sciences disciplines.

Career opportunities With their combined expertise in computational and social sciences, graduates of a Computational Social Science major are well-equipped for careers in innovation, technology, and social development.
