What is it about? The Minor in Japanese Language follows the first three years of the core Japanese language pathway, presenting an attractive option for students wishing to learn Japanese to complement other courses of study.

Pre-requisite requirements and/or other conditions for declaring the major/minor Minor:
Without prior knowledge in Japanese: A grade of C+ or above in both JAPN1088 and JAPN1099

With prior knowledge in Japanese: Students are required to take a placement test to determine their level of entry into the core language pathway.
